Prague Part 2 (26th to 28th May) - Arrival of 3 Others

Shuyu, Angel and Kokie arrived early morning on 26th, just as we were half awake, discussing the happening event that took place late in the night.

Apparently, there were 3 intruders, one of them the hostel fella, the other man looking for his supposedly misplaced passport, and there was one more. I'm not making sense here right? Because seriously, I didn't even know there were intruders. All of them woke up except me. Jie Jiun was the one who questioned the 3 supposedly huge men who sneakily came into our room when we were all fast asleep.

Anyway, not a big issue. We did confront the management. They said, one of them was looking for his missing passport. But still pretty suspicious since they could have woken us up, switched on the lights, instead of sneaking in like that.

Okie, so we went to the Prague Castle.

This was what happened when the guys unite. Look at how gay Jeremy and Kokie looked.

At the entrance, with the man of my dreams. (Not really).

That's Angel, Shuyu and Jeremy outcasting Kokie.

Inside the St. Vitus Cathedral

The intricate stain glass in the cathedral.

You can find a lot more of the pictures of the cathedral online. They're much more beautiful than what I can take with my compact camera.

Charles Bridge viewed from the castle.

Our very expensive lunch. We looked forcefully happy, because it didn't taste as nice as it looked and the portion was too small.

Resting along the stairs in Prague Castle. Photo taken by Jeremy, our official photographer.

Me and Sir Knight.

Jeremy and Shuyu at the Golden Lane.

At the end of all the walking in the castle. The view was really fantastic.

We then made our way to the Charles Bridge, and of course dinner. I need to mention this. Jie Jiun was like the official tour guide for food. He was always on the lookout for restaurants, holding the Lonely Planet, looking for the recommended restaurants, and the food rarely fail us.

Group photo on the Charles Bridge, all 10 of us.

That's me touching the dog on the Statue of John of Nepomuk.

They say that if you touch the dog, you'll be coming back to Prague in the future. I touched it for the sake of photo-taking. Not superstitious.

But Jie Jiun kissed the dog. I don't know what that means though =)

That's the Prague Castle right at the top, taken from the Charles Bridge.

The scenery from the bridge was really breath-taking. We spent quite a lot of time just walking from one end to another, enjoying the nice evening sky and the music.

We then took a walk around Staroměstské náměstí, the Old Town Square. It was really crowded, packed with tourists. Actually on the day we arrived, we've already covered that place. But for the benefit of our dearest 3 friends who arrived later, we went again, and took better pictures =)

The Town Hall Tower & Astronomical Clock (not clearly seen here).

The following day, we decided to take a long walk down the Vltava river to visit the National Theatre and dancing building, and of course fulfil our very important lunch! But it was hot and sunny. The weather was really quite crazy..

Lying on the grass with Jiexi, while on our way to the National Theatre.

Along the Vltava River.

At the restaurant dead tired and super hungry after walking for hours. The wait for the food was really long as well..

Later on while we were on our way searching for a pinic spot, we saw a really really huge creature. And it was a dog! HUGE!!! But I can't find a picture to let you clearly see how huge the dog is.

This is the best picture of the dog

Daidee was still the favourite game. Passing time in the hostel's breakfast table.

We waited damn long for our train to Vienna. It was delayed by 120mins if I didn't remember wrongly. It was a long painful and boring wait.

Byebye Prague! Off to Vienna!
