This is the "New Year" Post

10 days late, but it's already a bonus 'cos I didn't even do that in the previous year. I only get the "it's new year" feeling during Chinese New Year laarr. By that time, I'll be too busy with something. Anyway, here it goes..

*takes a sip of premium chinese tea...* (I'm not kidding. It's really good tea!)

2007 went on really fast. It's true that when you get older, you sort of lose track of time, and wish it'll go by slowly. I must say I have not accomplished any great things or did any wonders. But in little ways, my life have changed and I'm grateful that God allowed them to happen.

Anyway, I've been very healthy and happy. My immune system's better and for most of the year I was fit, minus the nagging left knee. I completed my first marathon despite a setback. I made my easily contented dad proud for that. He boasted about my small victory to everyone just like what he used to do when I was younger. Cute.

Completed my 6 months of attachment with a good company. It was enriching. So much more than I could ask for. I saw many of the ugly sides of myself. One of them being the workaholic, and the other being the perfectionist and control-freak. I've always thought these are really good qualities, but proof myself damn wrong. These "qualities" went haywire in me, so I've been more aware and trying to fine-tune myself.

My faith in God has been strengthened too. Not that I'm a super Christian or am I anywhere near Christ-like. Still in the process. I know better the affects and effects of my faith in God on other people, especially my family. I enjoy cell group even after a long work-day. I love to know more of God. I understand that people are not as bad as I used to think they are. My heart grew a little bit bigger, and much bigger for my loved ones.

My family has been closer and my sisters nicer than ever before. My boyfriend has been upgrading very frequently to a enhanced-version-supehero with mind-reading and big-heart capabilities. I have my dear friend back in action too!

God taught me and showed me so much in a year. Everyday, there's something that He prepared for each of us to discover. I want to discover more, of Him and this life that I'm in.

Thanks God! For blessing me and the people around me!
